PPOLICE are investigating after a woman was allegedly spat at and threatened while travelling on a train to Llandudno Junction.

British Transport Police said that on March 27 at around 6pm a woman was travelling with a friend when three men sat behind them.

One of the men reportedly spat at her, which landed on the back of her head and the seat. After moving from her seat and telling the conductor the man followed her and allegedly proceeded to threaten her.

A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "Officers believe the man in the CCTV image may have information which could assist their investigation.”

“Violence against women and girls will not be tolerated on the railway network.”

CCTV images released this week show a man who officers believe may have information which could assist their investigation.
