A North Wales law firm will be hosting two free legal clinics this summer, where people can discuss any questions they may have relating to possible claims for either personal injury or clinical negligence.

The clinics will be held at Lanyon Bowdler’s Conwy offices at Riverside Business Park on July 13 and July 21 between 10am and 4.30pm and will provide the opportunity for people to seek free professional advice from lawyers who specialise in these areas of law.

Laura Weir, a clinical negligence specialist at Lanyon Bowdler’s Conwy office, said: “If you ever find yourself in the unfortunate position of suffering either clinical negligence or personal injury, it is important to know that there is specialist legal advice available.

“Falling victim to these circumstances through no fault of your own can lead to considerable suffering, and in many cases life-changing situations, affecting not only the person directly involved but also their families.

“When it happens there are many questions to be answered, and advice and guidance is needed to help people know what to do next. We know that approaching a solicitor can be difficult, so our free clinics are a great way of taking that first step.

“There’s always a way to fund a claim, so come and talk to us entirely free of charge and commitment.”

Lanyon Bowdler is recognised by The Legal 500 and Chambers UK, is a member of the Spinal Injury Association and has lawyers who are on the AvMA Specialist Clinical Negligence Panel.

The firm is also accredited by APIL, the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, Headway, the Brain Injury Association and the Law Society.

Ms Weir added: “We have successfully claimed compensation for surgical errors, birth injuries and delayed or missed diagnosis resulting in death or injury, replacing lost earnings and providing funds for care and treatment.

“Our team of experts also specialise in work-related accidents, brain and spinal injuries and road traffic accidents.

“Whatever concerns or questions you may have, our free clinics in July will provide the opportunity to get them answered. Meetings will be held in private and no appointment is necessary, but they are recommended.”
