THE famous Red Arrows were spotted cruising above North Wales yesterday (June 7) as part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The famed aerobatics display team flew from the south west to appear at the Isle of Man TT – and their route took them over Snowdonia, Bangor and Anglesey.

Their way to the island also passed over a number of locations across Powys, Shropshire and North Wales, with Capel Curig and the Menai Strait also on the route.

The Red Arrows also landed at RAF Valley in Anglesey, and were spotted above Traeth Llanddwyn, near Newborough Forest, and Llanrug, near Caernarfon.
