THE CHEAPEST places to get diesel in the Llandudno, Colwyn Bay and Conwy area have been revealed as motorists are warned that average fuel prices will hit £2 per litre this summer.
The average cost of filling a typical family car with petrol could soon exceed £100 for the first time in the UK.
The average price of a litre of diesel at UK forecourts rose marginally from 184.9p per litre on June 6 to 190.4p on Monday, 13 June, according to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
That is an increase of 5.5p in just a week.
The cheapest places for diesel are:
Tesco Llandudno Junction – 191.9p
Asda Llandudno – 192.9p
Gulf Llandudno – 194.7p
Texaco Colwyn Bay – 194.9p
BP Colwyn Bay – 195.9p
The most expensive places for diesel are:
Shell Penmaenmawr – 198.9p
Jet Llandudno – 198.9p
Shell Colwyn Bay – 198.9p
Co-op Old Colwyn – 197.9p
