MORE than 100 vehicles took to the streets of Conwy yesterday (June 19) for the first Welsh National Tractor Road Run (WNTRR) to be held in North Wales.

It was the eighth WNTRR, but the first time the event had come to the region, and had been three years in the making.

Organised by Clwb Tractor Dyffryn Conwy (Conwy Valley Tractor Club), the event was held in aid of numerous charities in the region.

This included St David’s Hospice, Ty Gobaith children’s hospice, Wales Air Ambulance and Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institute.
