A WREXHAM pub is set to start selling wristbands for its own fan zone dedicated to Wales' World Cup matches later this week.

The much-loved Turf pub, which lies in the shadow of Wrexham AFC's Racecourse ground, will be showcasing two of Wales' games.

Landlord Wayne Jones has revealed that the fan zone will be in place for the matches against the USA and England.

A total of 500 people will be able to attend the events - with a big screen set to be situated in the pub's car park.

Wayne has now announced that wristbands to gain entry for those matches will go on sale this week at a price of £5.

Wales confirmed their qualification for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar with a win against Ukraine at the Cardiff City Stadium earlier this month. 

That was the first time a Wales side has qualified for the major tournament since Sweden 1958.

In Qatar, Rob Page's side will face the USA on November 21 (7pm) and England on November 29 (7pm).

Their other Group B match will take place in between those on November 25 with a 10am kick-off time.
