A MAN from Conwy has been banned from the road and fined after he was found guilty of four offences, including driving while under the influence of Ketamine.
Ryan Walker, 28, of Maes Hyfryd, Glan Conwy, was accused of the following while driving a Volkswagen vehicle on Penmaen Road on March 13:
• Driving without a licence.
• Driving without third party insurance.
• Driving with 313 micrograms per litre of blood of Benzoylecgonine (the main metabolite of cocaine) in his system (the legal limit is 50).
• Driving with 54 micrograms per litre of blood of Ketamine in his system (the legal limit is 20).
Mr Walker pleaded guilty to all four offences at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on June 20.

He was disqualified from driving for 28 months, and was fined £240.
Mr Walker avoided points on his driving record, but is to pay further costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £34 victim surcharge.
This made a total of £359, to be paid as a full lump sum within 28 days.
The court also made an application for deductions from Mr Walker’s benefits.
