A blogger from North Wales has launched a website that offers recommendations, news and openings of eateries in Anglesey, Conwy and Gwynedd.
North Wales Grub was started by Lisa Lympany as a social media blog highlighting eateries in the three counties, including offering recommendations on where to go, reviews of places Ms Lympany had visited, and news regarding fresh openings and updates.
Following the success of North Wales Grub on Instagram and Facebook, which became the go-to source of information for many on where to eat and drink during the COVID-19 lockdowns, Ms Lympany decided to make adapt the blog further.
“As the North Wales Grub social media accounts became more popular, I received a surprising amount of feedback saying they’d like the recommendations to be available in a web format,” said Ms Lympany.
“After doing some research, I realised that there was a gap in the market for North West Wales focused food news and recommendations, so decided to go ahead and create a website.”
The website includes pages dedicated to recommendations, news and events, and openings, with the aim to highlight the great work being done by local and independent businesses.
Ms Lympany continued: “The aim of North Wales Grub is to support local businesses through showcasing what they offer.
“I welcome any local eateries to get in touch if they have any news to share such as events, new menus, or pop-up events.”
