A Conwy restaurant has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
Corner Cupboard, a restaurant/cafe at 1 Wynnstay Road, Colwyn Bay, was given the score after assessment on June 24, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
The café, which has a 4.5 rating on TripAdvisor from 17 reviews, was marked ‘good’ for the cleanliness and condition of its facilities, and ‘generally satisfactory’ for its hygienic food handling and management of food safety.
It means that of Conwy's 288 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 230 (80 per cent) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
