PRESTATYN High School Sixth Form are celebrating another successful year for A-Level students, with staff saying it is “testament” to students’ hard work.

A school spokesperson said that 2022 was “one of the most successful yet”, with high aspirations and standards having a marked impact on the results of sixth formers.

The A-Level results for the class of 2022 have seen the overall pass rate remain consistently high with many indicators seeing a marked increase, particularly for A*-A grades.

Sian Reed, Head of Prestatyn High Sixth Form said: “We are incredibly proud of our students and their results.

“This year’s results are a significant achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication of both the students and staff.

“I am delighted to see them rewarded."

The vast majority of PHS students have achieved their potential and can now continue on to their University of choice or employment. This reflects real dedication, commitment and the support their teachers, families and friends.

Headteacher Mr Foley commented: “Under very difficult circumstances our amazing students have performed at the very highest level and achieved results that are truly outstanding.

“These results highlight the exceptional determination and effort of our resilient students.

“They have produced results that the whole Prestatyn community are truly proud of.

“These results are also a testament to high standards we set and expect from all from all students and staff, leading to such amazing results.

“The class of 2022 have achieved so much over these difficult few years and I applaud each and every one of them.

“Well done to all of our students, they can now go on and achieve their dreams.”
