YSGOL Syr Thomas Jones students celebrated receiving their A-Level results today, leaving school staff “extremely proud” of the achievements.

The Amlwch, Anglesey school, in the Pentrefelin area of the town, is a mixed bilingual community school.

A school spokesperson said: “Today, everybody involved at Ysgol Syr Thomas Jones is extremely proud of the achievements of our young people.

“After two long years and remembering that these 2022 A-Level students sat no formal examinations at GCSE we wish to congratulate them all.

“They have been resilient and have worked very hard.

“The results they receive today are well deserved and we know they will use them as a springboard to the next steps of their journey.

“We would especially want to highlight the achievements of the following students who have made remarkable progress over the two years from differing starting points.

“Their results are exceptional and a testament to their perseverance.”
