JOURNAL readers have shared their impressive snaps from an unforgettable weekend at the 2022 Rhyl Air Show.

Held on August 27 and 28, huge crowds revelled in displays from the Red Arrows, RAF Typhoon, Calidus Autogyro, Team Raven Aerobatic Display Team, Silver Stars Parachute Display Team, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, and more.

Demonstrations from RAF military dog also got both days underway, while the headline act, the Red Arrows, brought proceedings to a close at 5pm.

Though, yesterday (August 28), the Red Arrows' display was curtailed after one of the jets, Red 6, was struck by a bird.

The aircraft was forced to land early back at their base at Hawarden Airport, while the pilot was fortunately unharmed.
