ORGANISERS of Llandudno’s LLAWN festival have said talks are ongoing about hosting the event in either 2023 or 2024.

The free multi-arts festival, which was first held in 2013, is organised by MOSTYN, Arts Council Wales, Conwy County Borough Council and Mostyn Estates.

The first three festivals were crafted and curated by artist Marc Rees, with the husband and wife team of Lisa Heledd Jones and John Rostron taking over in 2016 when Marc took a step back.

The event was last held in 2019, with the pandemic delaying the return of the Llandudno favourite.

The festival features music, poetry, plays, puppetry and other arts and crafts.

A MOSTYN spokesperson said: “Obviously we haven't been able to hold LLAWN for the last couple of years, but we are currently in discussions with various stakeholder groups to look at whether we could now safely hold an event of that scale in 2023/2024.

“Watch this space!”
