A MAN from Colwyn Bay has received a suspended sentence and a ban from two stores after failing to comply with the requirements of a community order.

James Oakes, 32, whose last known address was on Conwy Road, was accused of being out of contact from July 9 to 19, thus breaching the order issued to him by Manchester Magistrates’ Court on July 8.

Oakes had received the order after being found guilty of four counts of theft between June 17 and July 7.
