ZIP WORLD is taking Halloween to new heights this year with zip lines, rides, high-rope courses and more, all with a terrifying twist.

With the return of Ffear Fforest, Zip World becomes the spooky destination to be this Halloween season.

A Monsters of the Mine experience sees swarms of monsters roam the park, with the only way to escape down the world’s fastest seated zip line ‘Phoenix’.

The Cursed Climber and the Fear Flyer can also be added separately (a night pass or spectator pass is required). Taking your fear of heights and adding monsters, these eerie experiences have lots of elements and obstacles to conquer.

With shuddering balance beams and rope bridges, climbing higher is the only way to escape the monsters’ reach at the Cursed Climber, while the Fear Flyer will send you shooting to safety across three zip lines.

The cursed carnival of Ffear Fforest is also returning, with The Nets and the Cursed Coaster.

The Cursed Coaster is a 1km ride through darkness, with only your cart’s torch to light the way through the forest. Clowns will lurk in the trees and prowl along the track as you choose to either soar down or take it slow and creep past the carnival crew. If you escape, The Nets present an unpredictable netted maze, where clowns dwell in the shadows. Use the lookout platforms to keep watch for clowns and work as a team to make a quick escape via the slides.

Welsh Mountain Zoo Halloween Fright Week returns!

The Nightfall will have you waiting in suspense before you drop 100ft through a trap door in complete darkness, while the Screamride is an adrenaline-fueled experience you won’t forget on one of Europe’s largest swings and will hoist you 24m up into the air and will send you flying through the night sky at huge speeds.

Wesley Earl, Brand Manager at Zip World commented: “For Halloween this year, we wanted to make the adventures bigger and spookier than ever, whilst also keeping lots of options open to those who are not ready for the higher-adrenaline elements.

“Our mission at Zip World is to help everyone be adventurous and to go outside their comfort zones and these Halloween events will certainly bring that experience to a higher level.

“The bigger activities aren’t for the faint hearted and should only be attempted by those prepared to be scared.

“The smaller attractions, or even the Spectator Passes if you’re visiting Monsters of the Mine, will still allow all the family to enjoy the spooky season, so that no one misses out on getting involved in the holiday spirit.”
