A MAN from Penrhyn Bay is to pay compensation and complete unpaid work after pleading guilty to committing assault in Llandudno.
Carlos Ribeiro, 19, of Penrhyn Beach West, was accused of assaulting Gareth Jones by beating him in Llandudno on August 13.
He pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on September 30.
Ribeiro is to pay £75 in compensation, and undertake 40 hours’ unpaid work.
The court also ordered him to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £114 victim surcharge.
This made a total payment of £274, to be paid in monthly instalments of £50 from October 28.
