FAMILY and friends in homes across North Wales feature in S4C's new Welsh language Gogglebocs Cymru series.

The Welsh version of the popular Channel 4 format series Gogglebox started on Wednesday, November 2 at 9pm.

Among the Gogglebocs Cymru faces are Mark Rogers, of Bangor, and Carwyn Davies, from Penygroes.

Others include Catrin and Shaunagh from Tregarth and Caernarfon (they will be seen first this Wednesday - November 9); Grace and Eiry from Llanrwst (they will also be seen first this Wednesday); Osian and Nayema from Caernarfon; Dafydd and Glain from Denbigh; Gwynant and Stephen from Talysarnau, Harlech; Cian and John from Porthmadog; Sioned and Phillip from Dyffryn Nantlle and Penrhosgarnedd and Rebecca, Natalie and Elen from Wrexham.

Voicing the series is presenter, comedian and Gogglebox fan, Tudur Owen.

A spokesperson for the programme said: "The cameras will visit the homes of characters throught Wales and further - from Caernarfon to Cardiff, from Maerdy to Manchester - and will share with us their views on programmes from Wales and beyond.

"The programme is on for two blocks of fives weeks.

"The first block is November and the second block, January."

The show airs on Wednesday nights, 9pm on S4C.

Last week characters Marcus and Vicki, of Pen-y-bont and Ogwr generated laughter when Vicki attempted to say 'llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch" and instead managed to say: "Llanfairpwll-dwi'm-yn-licio-ti-o-gwbl-gogogoch."
