A MAN from Rhos-on-Sea was fined and banned from the roads after pleading guilty to drug-driving.
Patrick Stevenson, 40, of Rhos Road, was accused of driving a Transit van on The Promenade and Whitehall Road, Rhos-on-Sea, with 2.9 micrograms per litre of blood of cannabis on August 19.
He pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on November 21.
Stevenson was disqualified from driving for three years.
The court issued a fine of £120, costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85, and a victim surcharge of £48.
This totalled £253, to be paid in monthly instalments of £25 from December 21.
An application was made, at Stevenson’s request, for deductions from his benefits.
