A COUPLE of men from Conwy were fined after being found guilty of fishing without a rod licence in Denbighshire.
Peter Pemberton, of Abergele Road, Colwyn Bay, and Stephen Griffiths, 62, of Elwy Road, Rhos-on-Sea, were accused of doing so at Llyn Derwen Fishery on July 13.
A guilty verdict for both was reached at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on November 29.
Both men were ordered to pay a fine of £220, a victim surcharge of £88, and costs of £127.30.
This amounted to a total payment for each of them of £435.30, to be paid by December 27.
