A MAN and woman from Colwyn Bay were both fined after pleading guilty to assault.

Bobby and Tracey Grimshaw, 22 and 46 respectively, both of Mor Awel, Old Colwyn, were each accused of assaulting Jade Ward by beating her in Old Colwyn on April 24.

They both changed their pleas to guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on November 21.

The court ordered each of them to pay a £200 fine, and £200 in compensation.

Tracey Grimshaw was ordered to pay a further £200 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

This totalled £400 for Bobby Grimshaw and £600 for Tracey Grimshaw, each to be paid as a full lump sum within 28 days.

An application was made for deductions from both of their benefits.
