A THREE-month-old puppy was attacked on a public footpath in Penrhyn Bay.
The 'dog attack' happened shortly after 5pm on Tuesday, December 27.
A spokesperson from North Wales Police said: "The incident involved a male walking a Greyhound, which had attacked a three-month-old puppy owned by the female caller.
"Officers attended the address of the female to check on the puppy’s welfare and found no signs of injury to the animal."
A report into the incident, on North Wales Community Alert, said "A puppy was attacked on Penrhyn Bay park.
"A middle aged man was walking with a greyhound which then attacked the puppy and walked off which as a result has caused some concern in the local community."
Inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
