Former Countdown host Carol Vorderman has been hailed for her "rebirth" as an "anti-corruption firebrand" after taking to Twitter to call out various Conservative politicians for their "Tory sleaze".
With 635,000 followers on the platform, Carol is using her influence to question the actions of politicians such as Tory chairman Nadhim Zahawi, BBC chairman Richard Sharp, and peer Michelle Mone.

After Mr Zahawi was ousted as Tory chairman, one Twitter user shared a photo of the maths ace with a glass of champagne and joked she had 'just killed another career'.

TV impressionist Rory Bremner recently praised Carol, claiming she was "on fire" in her crusade against corruption.

Carol, who was brought up in Rhyl and Prestatyn, also used a recent appearance on ITV's This Morning to question the Prime Minister's use of a "blind trust" for his financial interests.
Her stance against corruption has been praised by many online, and is sure to gain her even more supporters.
