BEARMONT Group is to become sponsors of the Llandudno Rugby Club under-14s team.

The team will receive a new kit that will elevate their playing experience and give them a sense of pride on the field.

Llandudno RFC was founded in 1953 by John Kidson who arrived from Liverpool to work in the town and was “amazed to find that in this Welsh town, there was no local rugby club”.

The club has expanded in time and has talent across its senior and youth teams.

He said: "Rugby is about more than just winning and losing, it's about the sense of teamwork, camaraderie, and enjoyment that the sport brings.

“The boys are grateful to Bearmont Group for their support and the new kit is sure to bring a smile to their faces.”

Rob Lloyd, chief executive of Bearmont Group, said: “We are dedicated to supporting local sports and the community, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to help the Llandudno Rugby Club under-14s.

“The club does a great job at offering people the chance to play rugby and serve as inspiring figures for children of all ages in the community.

“We look forward to coming along and seeing the team in action soon!”

The sponsorship forms part of Bearmont’s ongoing commitment to investing back in its community.

Llandudno under-14s also extended its gratitude to Bearmont Group for its support, and is looking forward to representing the team on the field in its new kit.
