A MAN from Rhos-on-Sea was banned from the roads after admitting to drink-driving in Llandudno.
Thomas Garstang, 31, of Allanson Road, was accused of driving a Honda Jazz vehicle on Bodafon Road with 51 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath on January 3.
He pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on January 30.
Garstang was disqualified from driving for 12 months, but this will reduce by 13 weeks if he completes a course by August 30.
The court ordered him to pay a fine of £375, a surcharge of £150, and costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85.
This totalled £610, to be paid in weekly, £30 instalments from February 26.
