A LLANDUDNO pub has a new look as well as a new menu thanks to a £100,000 cash injection.

The Carlton is part of the Stonegate Group. The group invested more than £100k in the pub to enable it to "bring the best in hospitality to the Llandudno community and beyond".

The Carlton reopened with a launch party earlier this month.

The venue benefits from new furnishings, flooring and decoration. Photos, charting the history of the seaside town, have also been put up on the walls.

The menu has been re-designed and opening hours extended; customers can now enjoy breakfast from 9.30am.

Having worked at the pub for more than 15 years from front-of-house roles to day-to-day running, Becky Gill is remaining in the management team.

Becky said: “It has been a lively few weeks getting everything prepared and opening again and very exciting too. The feedback we have had so far on the new look and the offer has been really good, both here and online with reviews.”

The new menu, which now features pizzas, is proving popular with customers.

There is a range of different offers running throughout the week, including daily deals such as Burger and Drink Tuesdays and Grill and Drink Thursdays.

Deals are also running on Cask Tuesdays. With the Craft Union Order and Pay app, customers can order drinks from their seat and they will be delivered to the table.

The pub is described as family friendly, with children welcome until 6pm.

Entertainment is provided throughout the week. This includes the pub’s bingo and karaoke nights. Regular live music events are also being planned.

Becky said: “There’s so much going on and it has been wonderful to see so many familiar faces coming through the doors."
