AFTER Llandudno in Bloom’s successful gold award in the Royal Horticultural Society’s (RHS) “Wales in Bloom” competition last year, it has now been accepted as a finalist in the RHS Britain in Bloom UK finals for 2023.

The Britain in Bloom judges are due to visit in late July or early August, and Llandudno will be competing against six other towns from the UK, in the coastal category.

Chairman of Llandudno in Bloom, Cllr Louise Emery, said: “This prestigious event showcases the best towns and villages from across the UK.

“We want the whole community to get involved, whether that be by joining a ‘friends group’ to keep our parks maintained, making your front garden look extra special this year, or litter-picking in your spare time.

“We want to make the town look fabulous this summer.”
