A SUPERMARKET worker rushed to help an elderly woman who fell and broke her shoulder.
Jade Ward, who works at Asda Llandudno, had just finished her shift when the 89-year-old customer, only known as Barbara, lost her footing; a gust of wind had made her tumble as she tried to get into a taxi.
Jade called an ambulance.
She could see she was in pain so alongside the taxi driver, she stayed until the paramedics arrived.
A spokesperson from Asda said: "John [the taxi driver] later came back into the store to buy Barbara some essentials for the hospital as she was being kept overnight.

Rachel Carey, the store's community champion, said: "John and Jade have kept in contact for updates on Barbara and she has since had an operation on her shoulder and is on the mend.
"A massive well done to Jade, she really went above and beyond.”
