THE Welsh Mountain Zoo has been forced to close to the public due to the heavy snow.
A spokesperson for the Colwyn Bay attraction said: "In the interest of visitor safety, the zoo is closed today (Thursday, March 9) due to adverse weather conditions.
"All of our animals are safe and well and are being cared for by our dedicated team.
"If you have pre-booked tickets, our team will be in touch.
"We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding."
