A POPULAR nightclub and bar in Towyn which closed in the mid-1990s is to open its doors once again from next month.

Bentley’s Sports Bar and Nightclub will return from April 1, and will be located above Sunny’s Bar and Pub Grub on Towyn Road.

It will be open until 3am, and promises state-of-the-art sound and lighting, VIP booths, a dancefloor, 30 televisions, and pool tables.

Bentley’s will return under the ownership of the One47 Group.

Last month, a One47 Group spokesperson said: "All we have ever wanted is to give people a safe and enjoyable night out, and I think that resonates now more than ever.

“Bentley's is everything anybody could want from a night out – quality drinks and world-class entertainment set in the most stunning environment, in a very, very busy tourist town of North Wales.

"Previously this amazing building has been a successful nightclub, now once again, it’s time for the One47 Group to bring Towyn, and North Wales as a whole something special.

"We have a strong portfolio of bars, clubs, hotels and food outlets across North Wales, so it’s great to see a new addition to the group.”

The original Bentley’s was also previously called “Mirrors”.

Further updates about its re-opening will be shared on the club’s Facebook page.

The spokesperson added: "People’s desire to dance has never been stronger and we are so excited about being able to give our guests that pleasure once again, in what would be classed as a destination with, at the moment, no real nightlife to this side of Conwy county.

"We are also delighted to have created key employment roles which we know are a huge boost to the town’s night-time economy, and believe all surrounding businesses will gain from the opening.

“Not only are nights out back, but Bentley's will make them undeniably better than ever."
