Hope for dogs to find forever home after rescue from 'dilapidated' farmhouse

The centre looks after pets before rehoming them, with the RSPCA as a whole recording a 25 per cent rise in the number of abandonment incidents being dealt with by its rescue teams across England and Wales in 2022.

Situated in the countryside, it has 30 kennels, 36 cat pens, 18 rabbit pods and four ferret pods, as well as room for small animals, farm animals and wildlife.

It provides specialist care for domestic and farm animals, and also looks after injured wildlife before its release or transfer to one of the RSPCA's four wildlife centres.
