POLICE were called to an incident on the A55 near Abergele yesterday (April 17).
This caused the road to shut in both directions between junctions 24 and 25, near the village of St George.

A North Wales Police spokesperson confirmed that the force received a call to a “broken down vehicle in lane one”.
Traffic Wales said that the congestion stretched to junction 26 (St Asaph) of the road.
North Wales Police said at about 5.05pm: “A55 closed in both directions near St George, between Junctions 24-25.
At 6.20pm yesterday, police confirmed: "Road is now open - A55, in both directions, near St George, between Junction 24-25."
