THE SECOND day of the Victorian Extravaganza in Llandudno saw crowds attend in droves.

Held for roughly 35 years, the extravaganza made its annual return on Saturday, with more festivities taking place yesterday.

Huge crowds lined the streets as food vendors, market stalls and businesses thrived, as well thos who run the rides.

With a helter skelter, several Ferris wheels, prize-winning game stalls, a variety of rollercoasters, and dodgems, there was plenty for people to do.

Mario Morris Outdoor Magic Experience impressed audiences, with balloon artist Lady Vee adding a creative spark.

The Ghost Buskers, George Formby Society, Ghost Buskers, Linzi Grace School of Dance, and North Wales Rock Choir all delighted crowds with their performances, and there were the more vintage attractions such as the old vehicles.

This year has also seen a return of the “Steam Arena”, a window dressing competition, a new-look Victorian dress contest, a best-dressed stall competition, with some people donning their best Victorian clothing.

Businesses such as Jim's Ices, Ridiculously Rich by Alana, Sisarikg Crafts, Tammy’s Face Painting, and more were also in attendance.

One business, Happily Ever After on Mostyn Street, said this was the busiest they had ever been, adding that this year’s Extravaganza had “blown last year’s out the water”.
