THE OPENING of the Ormo Lounge in Llandudno is just a week away, and excitement is already building.
Restaurant and bar chain Loungers has transformed Gloddaeth Street site, which was previously home to M&Co for more than 20 years.
The retro-inspired retreat, with a nod to a glamorous bygone era, will be open all day, and will serve breakfast and brunch options, sandwiches, flatbreads, tapas, burgers and desserts.
There will be day-specific deals, including ‘Cheeky Mondays’, ‘Tapas Tuesdays’ and a ‘Teatime Tipple’ cocktail happy hour, available from Sunday to Thursday.

Patterned wallpapers, tiling and stripped wooden floors will feature alongside oversized vintage sofas, upholstered lounge chairs, artwork and statement wall and pendant lighting, creating a variety of cosy and elegant drinking and dining areas to choose from.
With the finishing touches being put in place, the restaurant is set to open its doors on May 11.
Ormo Lounge said via social media: “Our informal café-bar will be open all day, every day for long, lazy breakfasts, sociable brunches and lunches, and relaxed dinners and drinks.
“We can't wait to meet you!”
