DECK chairs will be available for hire on Llandudno promenade this summer, despite having not been installed yet this year.
With weather generally improving, and with a busy summer season set to draw tourists to the resort town, members of the public had worried that there would be no deck chairs along the popular promenade.
Some had criticised the council, adding that the town had already lost its donkey rides and sandy beaches.

It also remains to be seen whether the paddling pool in Craig y Don will open this summer, with the council having secured a new contractor for paint upgrades.
They are working on a "timeline of delivery" for when the anti-slip coating will be installed, but have yet to confirm whether the pool will open this year.
However, the town’s deck chairs will be available this summer in a move that will delight those wanting to enjoy the good weather.
A Conwy County Borough Council spokesperson said: “We plan to have deck chairs available for hire on Llandudno Promenade during the summer holidays as usual.”
