A CONWY pub that was rated one-out-of-five for food hygiene just months ago has been rated five after another inspection.
The Old Ship, located on Tan y Fedw in Trefriw, was given a score of one after assessment on February 9.
But its rating has now soared to a perfect five, having clearly taken on board what the previous inspection said.

The February inspection report into the establishment rated its management of food safety ‘major improvement necessary’, its hygienic food handling ‘improvement necessary’, and its cleanliness and condition of facilities and building ‘good’.
The new rating has now rated its management of food safety, hygienic food handling and the cleanliness of its facilities ’good’.
The pub has TripAdvisor rating of 4.5, based off 366 reviews.
