DESPITE overcast skies and patches of heavy rain, revellers enjoyed a jam-packed weekend of live music in Colwyn Bay.

On Friday, fans enjoyed orchestral show celebrating the biggest dance anthems: Ministry of Sound Classical.

Stadiwm CSM provided the perfect (if damp!) backdrop for the incredible live music spectacle.

Classical remakes of dance anthems included: The Chemical Brothers, Hey Boy Hey Girl; Dario G, Sunchyme; Faithless, Insomnia; Fatboy Slim, Right Here, Right Now and Moloko, Sing It Back.

One reveller posted on social media: "What a night. I danced the soles off my trainers thank you! Amazing."

Abbey Stratford posted on our Facebook: "We went on Friday night to the ministry of sound. It was so good."

On Saturday, fans were treated to an outdoor gig by N-Dubz.

Tulisa, Dappy and Fazer, of the pop-hip-hop band, were be joined by special guests Wes Nelson and Nathan Dawe.

On Sunday, Rag 'N' Bone Man – aka Rory Graham - took to the stage. 

Fans hundled together under brollies to watch the singer who rose to prominence in 2016 with the release of the worldwide smash hit 'Human'.

Josh Barry and Lily Moore supported. 

David Drage, who was in the crowd, posted on our social media: "Went sunday night, rag and boneman, great night."

Julie Owen said: "We were drenched, but loved every minute. He was so appreciative that fans had stayed to see him with such awful weather. Humble guy with a massive talent.

Susan Smith said: "Didn't matter about the continuous downpours, he was amazing, one of the best concerts I've been to and I've been to a lot."

Izzy Bolton wrote: "Was amazing but we had to leave early as we were soaked to the bone."

Dana Marie said: "He was amazing. I'd do it all again in the rain." 

Catt Hitchen said: "We arrived at 5.35pm and stood the whole time in the rain at the front, well worth the wait as two great acts on and then Rory came on and lit the house up.

"Bloody brilliant even if went home drenched to the bone."

Nicola Gresty said: "He was absolutely brilliant. Kept thanking people for coming in this awful weather."

As part of the annual concert, Stadiwm CSM has welcomed huge names including Noel Gallagher, Simply Red, Pete Tong, Lionel Richie, Tom Jones and Sir Elton John.
