A SHOP in Llandudno Junction was the target of a shoplifting incident yesterday afternoon (July 23).

The Co-op, on Conway Road, reported the incident to police at about 4.15pm yesterday.

North Wales Police confirmed it is investigating the matter.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: “We received a call at 4.16pm on July 23 reporting an incident of shoplifting of approximately £10 worth of goods from the Co-op store on Conway Road, Llandudno Junction.

“The incident is currently being investigated and anyone with any information is asked to contact us quoting ref A116223.”

Attempts have been made to contact the Co-op for further comment.
