A dedicated police officer and PCSO have been tasked to tackle anti-social behaviour in Llandudno. 

Following recent concerns around anti-social behaviour involving youths, there will now be a dedicated officer and PCSO working to target hotspot areas in Llandudno and surrounding areas. 

The dedicated officers will be conducting high visibility foot patrols to speak with young people and to attend any reports of anti-social behaviour in the West Conwy area.

The officers will attend youth engagement meetings with youth clubs to speak to young people as well as working with partner agencies to tackle any issues that arise collectively. 

T/ Inspector Catherine Walker said: “Anti-social behaviour has a detrimental effect on all those who live and work in the community. 

“We are committed to working with partner agencies and members of the community to tackle any unacceptable behaviour and I would encourage anyone with concerns to contact us so we can deal with them appropriately.”
