A YOUNG Llandudno footballer has joined Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion, putting pen to paper on a three-year deal.
Joe Belmont, a Ysgol John Bright student, has signed a professional contract with the club, who finished sixth last season.

He has represented Wales at under-16 level, and was previously in Liverpool’s academy.
An Ysgol John Bright spokesperson said: “Year 11 student Joe Belmont this week moved down to Brighton, signing his three-year professional football contract with Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League.
“What an unbelievable achievement! Wishing you all the best from YJB for your future Joe.”
