IT IS USUALLY the goats causing traffic chaos in Llandudno but this morning, it was two different animals causing mischief!

North Wales Police took to Facebook at about 5.30am on Wednesday, August 23 to say: "Drivers are asked to take care when travelling along the road between Craigside and Penrhyn Bay, Llandudno, as there have been reports of two donkeys on the road in the area. Thank you."

They have since been safely removed from the road and into a nearby farm.

The force posted on social media at 6.43am: "In relation to the two donkeys on the road in Craigside near Penrhyn Bay, they have now been safely moved to a nearby farm."

One person posted on the Pioneer Facebook: "The police did an excellent job in ensuring the donkeys were safe from the traffic. Well done. The owner of the four donkeys in the field by the Little Orme came to help very quickly and although they weren't his donkeys, he let the police put them in the field with his donkeys.

"Very impressed with how everything was very well co-ordinated. Let's hope the two donkeys are soon reunited with their owner."
