THE CAYLEY Promenade in Rhos-on-Sea will close this week to allow the final stage of pedestrian crossing and traffic work to be completed.
The road will be closed overnight from 8pm tomorrow (August 24) until 5am on Friday, 25 August.
During this time, contractors will finish installing pedestrian crossing points and traffic calming measures on Cayley Promenade (weather depending).
Conwy County Borough Council said a diversion will be in place via Whitehall Road and Llannerch Road East.

Contractors poured the final coloured slab along the promenade two weeks ago, which now runs all the way from Combermere Gardens to Porth Eirias.
Health markers have been installed, extending the health route which starts at the pier and now runs to the 1700m finish line near Combermere Gardens.
Sun loungers opened for public use a few weeks ago.
The next stages of the work will see the final surface being laid along the active travel route, the road and the parking areas.
