A HOTEL in Rhos-on-Sea could be converted into flats, after a planning application was submitted.

The Danilton Hotel, at 18 College Avenue, would become five residential flats should plans be approved.

The 17-bed hotel, located at the former The Ashmount hotel site, is newly-refurbished, and is just minutes away from the seafront and the town centre.

The pre-application advice from the planning authority had suggested the site be converted into nine flats, which has been changed under the current proposal.

The plans to change the hotel, which is still in operation, has received approval from neighbours.
