BUSINESSES and individuals from the hospitality sector were celebrated during an awards ceremony.

The Welsh Hospitality Awards 2023 took place on Monday, October 2 at the Mercure Holland House Hotel in Cardiff.

The awards celebrate "excellence" in the country’s  hospitality industry and aim to highlight the "very best" hotels, restaurants, bars, spas, and more. 

Among the winners were The Kinmel Arms in Abergele who won category - Boutique Hotel of the Year

Llandudno Bay Hotel won Hotel Team of the Year and Sheeps and Leeks in Caernarfon scooped Casual Dining Restaurant of the Year North.

Sheeps and Leeks also were named Casual Dining Restaurant of the Year Overall Winner.

Other winners from the area included The Wild Pheasant Hotel & Spa in Llangollen who were named Hotel of the Year North and The White Lion Inn in Colwyn Bay who scooped Pub/Inn of the Year North.

The Wild Pheasant Hotel & Spa also secured Restaurant of the Year North

The awards ceremony is now in its fifth year.
