A 35-YEAR-old driver has achieved a major milestone in her career at Alpine Travel in just under 12 months.

Emily Williams has successfully passed the D1 Licence test with flying colours.

Starting out as a feeder driver in 2022, Emily offered door-to-door pick-up services for passengers on Alpine's Jones Holidays products.

The company said she not only provided "exceptional care" and attention to her passengers but also had the ambition to learn how to drive larger vehicles in the Alpine fleet.

A spokesperson for Alpine Travel, based in Llandudno, said: "Now, with her newly acquired D1 Licence, Emily can drive midi coaches with up to 16 seats. This opens a world of opportunities for her, including driving not just feeder vehicles but also private groups and customers who hire larger vehicles from Alpine Travel."

Jon Hughes, the Transport Manager at Alpine, said he sees a "bright future ahead" for Emily. He emphasised her professionalism and skill in the short time she has been with the company.
