NEW food hygiene ratings have been given to four businesses in Colwyn Bay, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
The food hygiene rating scheme gives businesses in England and Wales a rating of 0-5, 5 being the highest, based on their hygiene standards.
The scheme is run in partnership with local authorities and in Wales businesses are obligated to display their rating.

The following businesses were given ratings:
- Rated 4: Top Tasty at 425 Abergele Road, Old Colwyn; assessed on September 25
- Rated 4: Sheldons Cafe Bar Ltd at 8 Penrhyn Road; assessed on September 19
- Rated 3: Colwyn Bay Kebab at 26 Abergele Road; assessed on August 17
- Rated 3: Colwyn Spice Hut at 361 Abergele Road, Old Colwyn; assessed on September 14
