THOUSANDS of people have flocked to Llandudno over the last three days to visit the Christmas Extravaganza.
The four-day event started on Thursday, November 16 and concludes today (Sunday, November 19).
The free event has certainly drawn the crowds [and the coaches!] and injected festive cheer into the town. As well as fairground rides and gift stalls, there's an array of food at the extravaganza, both sweet and savoury, and familiar scents of mulled wine and cinnamon fill the air as you walk round.
Prices appear quite high on occasions for foodie treats (£5.50 for a lemon and sugar crepe and £6.50 for Biscoff and cream) but queues are long showing that customers are not put off.
The Traditional German sausage is a particular hit; sausages and other meats sizzle away on an open fire grill.
Apprentice winner Alana Spencer, who closed her cafe at Craig-y-Don paddling pool earlier this year, is back. Visitors can also choose to walk round with their favourite cocktails [The Peacock Lounge], enjoy authentic Indian cuisine [Sylhet Spice Llandudno] or sample a bubble waffle [Vinteage Ltd].
There is entertainment galore on the stage. Jabberwocky will be on the main stage today from 12pm, The Quaynotes Jazz Band from 2pm and Magic Light Productions are also expected to perform.

The market appeared a little quiet when we visited in the day on Friday and Saturday [we spied Mother Goose from Magic Light Productions speaking to visitors!] But it was packed to the rafters when we returned Saturday evening. Music blared out from from the Waltzers and on the other street, on the main stage, performers from Linzi Grace School of Dance were doing a fabulous job of getting everyone in the Christmassy mood!
The pop-up igloos, situated in the grounds of Holy Trinity Church, twinkled in the night sky. The snow globes are bookable and cater for up to eight people. At the time of writing, there was still (very limited) availability for Sunday. Igloos can be booked via the Llandudno Christmas Extravaganza website.
