AN EXPANSIVE farmhouse on Anglesey is heading to auction this week with a guide price of £500,000.
The sprawling four-bedroom home, along with multiple outbuildings, sits on the edge of Wales’ most famous village Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, or Llanfairpwllgwyngyll for short.
Known worldwide for its tongue-twisting name, thousands of tourists flock to the picturesque spot every year for photographs next to the 58-letter long railway station sign.
The original property, named Tyddyn Fadog, underwent a significant overhaul by the current owners in 2009. Arranged in a 'C' shape, several outbuildings have been converted into extra bedrooms and living areas.
An attached farm building has also been redesigned into a self-contained annex, boasting an impressive, vaulted ceiling and patio doors opening on both sides.
