A CRASHÂ affected traffic in Conwy on the A55 this afternoon (January 1).
This was in the eastbound direction, by the Conwy Tunnel, and closed a lane on the road, which has now re-opened.
A Traffic Wales update at 3.10pm read: "Warning: A55 Eastbound Conwy Tunnel - reports of collision in the area.
"Slow moving traffic. Traffic officers are enroute."
An INRIX traffic update added: "Queueing traffic and one lane closed due to accident on A55 North Wales Expressway Eastbound after J17 A547 (Conwy Morfa).
"Lane one (Of two) is closed with a car on the grass verge facing oncoming traffic."
At about 5pm, INRIX updated: "Delays due to earlier accident on A55 North Wales Expressway Eastbound after J17 A547 (Conwy Morfa). All lanes have been re-opened."
