NEW Year at hospitals in North Wales brought a number of new arrivals!

At Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor, on January 1 2024, parents Erin Williams and Brandon Hughes from Holyhead welcomed Elodie Faith Hughes into the world.

This was the first birth of New Year's Day at Ysbyty Gwynedd.

Elodie weighed in at 5lb 11oz and made her entrance at 1.29am.

Sean Lewis and Kirsty Williams, of Bangor, welcomed Macsen-Rhys Lewis to the world at 8.04am. Macsen-Rhys weighed 8lb 6oz.

A spokesperson from Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) said: "Congratulations to all the new parents and thank you to all the teams who are caring for the new mums and their babies on our maternity wards."
