A CARRIAGEWAY on the A55 in Conwy has been closed after a crash.
The eastbound carriageway at the Penmaenbach headland has been closed as emergency services attend the scene.
Drivers have been told to expect heavy congestion in the area.
A Traffic Wales spokesperson said: "We are dealing with an incident heading eastbound on the A55 at Penmaenbach Headland.
"Lane 1 is closed for recovery. Heavy congestion in the area."
